A quiet day for a change with taking Ananthi to school and doing a little shopping. I hope I have found some raw silk that my sister Allie has been looking for. She actually wanted a scarf, but nothing suitable was available so I bought three different 2 m lengths and know that she is talented enough to make them into scarves.
Sriya and I went to lunch with a long time family friend at her quirky little art gallery hidden right in the middle of town. They were preparing for a combination book signing and photo exhibit that was basically centered on refugees from the now finished conflict in Sri Lanka. I hope it went well as there were nervous people running around and not too many hours until the opening.
Vivek and I met up with Kevin Thieneman who was flying out to Singapore for a drink in the evening. Kevin is the same as ever, very driven and company/business focused. I am still interested in the people, and the success of the company, but do not miss the stress and everyday BS that goes with it one tiny bit!!
